Delete your MATTRIX account
You can request permanent deletion of your MATTRIX account and associated personal data.
**In the production app:** Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account.
**If you cannot access the app:** use the deletion request form on this page or email [support@mattrixbjj.com](mailto:support@mattrixbjj.com) from the email address associated with your account. Use the subject **Delete MATTRIX Account**.
We may ask you to verify account ownership. Once the request is verified and completed, we intend to delete or de-identify account data under MATTRIX's control, including profile data, private training records, posts and uploaded media, except information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or other permitted purposes. Primary data should ordinarily be removed or de-identified within approximately 30 days; residual encrypted backups may remain until normal backup rotation, ordinarily no longer than approximately 90 days.
Records independently created by another athlete (for example, that athlete's own training log that referred to you) may remain as part of their record, subject to applicable privacy rights and de-identification where required.
Account deletion is permanent and is different from logging out or temporarily disabling notifications.
